Your financial gift is vital to sustaining our programs and expanding our reach. Every dollar you give helps create brighter futures.

What Your Donation Can Do:

  • $50 provides a week’s worth of groceries for a family.
  • $100 covers counseling sessions for one resident.
  • $500 funds life skills workshops for an entire month.

Ways to Give:

  • Make a one-time or recurring donation.
  • Sponsor a specific program, like Sue’s Home or Breakthrough.
  • Take advantage of the Children’s Promise Act Tax Credit, which offers a dollar-for-dollar reduction in your Mississippi state tax liability.

Children's Promise Act Tax Credit

The Children’s Promise Act allows individuals and businesses to make meaningful donations while reducing their state tax liability.

Individuals:

Receive up to $3,000 in tax credits if filing jointly ($1,500 for single filers) or claim up to 50% of what you owe the state of Mississippi.

Businesses:

Offset up to 50% of your state tax liability, including income, insurance premium, or ad valorem taxes. Unused credits can carry forward for up to five years.

*Beginning January 1, 2024, all tax credit applications must be submitted online.*

  • Donate Furniture or Appliances: Help furnish and equip our transitional housing spaces when you upgrade your appliance set.
  • Host a Supply Drive: Organize a community drive to gather needed items like hygiene products or school supplies.
  • Bring Your Group for a Project: Rally your church, business, or civic group to complete a meaningful campus project, such as painting, landscaping, or room renovations.
